Return & Refund Policy

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

To process a return, you will need to provide your receipt or invoice.

Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving your item.

Refunds will be provided in the form of the original payment.

Returns may be subject to inspection before your refund can be issued.

To ensure a full refund, items must be unused, unassembled, and in their original condition. Packaging must be complete with tags, instructions, and inserts.

Custom upholstery pieces are made just for you, therefore are non-refundable and cannot be changed, returned, or cancelled.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing on items returned via mail.

Final sale items cannot be returned, cancelled, or exchanged.

Returns

If you are unsatisfied with your product for any reason you will have 30 days from the date of delivery to return the product and request a refund. You may return any Product (as defined below) purchased on kapatu.com in accordance with the terms below:

A return authorization must be requested within 30days of your date of delivery. You must contact us at BettyMorkxcf@gmail.com to request and receive an we send EMAIL,so we can track your return.

You must return the Product to the address provided to receive a refund at your cost within 30 days.

Our factory is based in China and the item need to be returned to the factory.

* Please do not send the package back to the address on the package as it is not our return address. The address on the package is the warehouse address of the logistics company that works with us.

* Please write down your name and your order number on a piece of paper and post it together with the item, then send all the items back via USPS and give us the tracking number.

* All returned items will be checked. We will process the refund once we have received the return package and can confirm that the product has the issues mentioned.

* The refund will be bcak to your paypal account within 24 hours, if you paid with debit- or creditcad, you can get the money back to your account within 3-15 working days. It depends on the processing time of your bank.

Returned Product(s) must be in good physical condition (not physically broken or damaged). All accessories originally included with your purchase must be included with your return.

Additional terms and conditions:

Shipping and handling charges, gift wrap fees, and taxes paid (such as state, customs, or VAT) are not refundable.

You are responsible for and must prepay all shipping charges and you assume the risk of loss or damage to the returned Product(s) while in transit back to kapatu.com.

RETURNS BY MAIL

To begin the process of a return by mail, please contact CUSTOMER CARE or call us at +1502 868 2000 to receive instructions prior to sending back your merchandise. Returns by mail require shipment back to our main warehouse.  Please note that return shipping is your responsibility, so we encourage you to use a service that offers tracking capabilities.

WHAT ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE?

All custom pieces are made just for you, therefore are non-refundable and cannot be changed, returned, or cancelled.

If you return Product to kapatu(a) without a return authorization from kapatuor (b) without all parts and accessories originally included with your purchase, kapaturetains the right to either refuse acceptance of such return or charge you a restocking fee of 30% of the original price of the Product(s) or the retail value of the missing parts and accessories, whichever is higher.

If the product is inspected and determined to be in good physical condition, kapaturetains the right to charge you a 30% restocking fee. This fee is to cover the cost of labor and repackaging a product that is found to be in good condition.

 Who pays for the shipping costs when making the return?

a. If you received an incorrect or damaged product, please contact customer service immediately so we can resolve the issue. We want every purchase to be exactly as anticipated and promised. For the return under this condition we will pay the return shipping fee.

b.If you are returning multiple items, please return them together to enjoy Free Return on all items.

c.If you return the goods one by one, you may need to pay an additional shipping fee.

d. If the product is in good condition, but you don’t like it and want to return it back, the postage needs to be borne by you.

Order cancellations

We understand that ordering a costume for special occasions is an important decision and will accommodate you as much as we can. However, it is important to note that all of our costumes are in stock, and once the order is shipped it cannot be canceled. Please note the following cancellation policy.

– Unpaid orders are automatically canceled.

– If the orders are canceled within 18 hours after payment, you will get a full refund.

– If the items were packed within 24 hours but were not shipped, you will get 80% refund + shipping fee.

– Once your order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Products with obvious signs of use

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at BettyMorkxcf@gmail.com  and we will provide you further instructions on where to return the item for an exchange. Please note that we cannot accept exchanges beyond 30 days from the date of delivery.
